Maryland rockers Clutch brought their Book of Bad Decisions tour to Seattle’s beloved Showbox SoDo on October 7th with Atlanta, Georgia based Sevendust and Nashville, Tennesee’s Tyler Bryant & The Shakedown.

Tyler Bryant & The Shakedown opened the evening. Formed in 2009, the band consists of members Tyler Bryant (vocals/guitar) , Caleb Crosby (drums), Graham Whitford (guitar), Noah Denney (bass). Their Southern rock ‘n’ roll, blues infused set included songs such as “Weak & Weepin’”, “Criminal Imagination”, “House on Fire”, “Downtown Tonight”, “Don’t Mind The Blood”, “Lipstick Wonder Woman”, and a cover of the popular blues song by Ann Cole/Muddy Waters “Mojo Workin”. Towards the end of their set, gave the crowd a mind-blowing drum solo front and center stage.

Consisting of music veterans Lajon Witherspoon (lead vocals), Clint Lowery (guitar, vocals), Morgan Rose (drums, vocals), John Connolly (guitar, vocals), and Vince Hornsby (bass), Sevendust took the stage as direct support to Clutch. Supporting their new album All I See is War, Sevendust played favorites such as “Dirty”, “Face to Face”, “Denial”, “Unforgiven”, “Waffle”, “Too Close to Hate”, “Bitch”, and “Thank You”. They treated the crowd like old friends they’d been reunited with after a long journey and gave the energy and performance their fans have come to know and love them for.

Clutch closed the evening playing songs from their new album Book of Bad Decisions such as “Gimme the Keys”, “Vision Quest”, “How to Shake Hands”, “In Walks Barbarella”, “A Good Fire”, “Ghoul Wrangler”, “Emily Dickinson”; as well as older songs such as “Escape From the Prison Planet” and  “Spacegrass” from their self-titled second album, “Burning Beard” from Robot Hive/Exodus, “Electric Worry” off of From Beale Street to Oblivion,  title song “Earth Rocker” from their 2013 release of the same name – Earth Rocker, “Noble Savage” and “A Quick Death in Texas”off of Pyschic Warfare.  They gave the crowd a two song encore to close their set, which consisted of “El Jefe Speaks” off of their very first album Transnational Speedway League: Anthems, Anecdotes, and Undeniable Truths and “D.C. Sound Attack” also off their album Earth Rocker.

Clutch, Sevendust, and Tyler Bryant & The Shakedown will continue to tour together through the end of October – ending in Philadelphia at the Electric Factory on October 28th
